Three new employer recognitions for SCA in Scandinavia

SCA has lately been awarded with the UNIVERSUM KarriärBarometern and FöretagsBarometern amongst the young in Sweden and the ArbejdsmiljøPrisen in Denmark.

KarriärBarometern & Företags-Barometern 2011 (Sweden)

According to UNIVERSUM's ranking survey SCA is best in the forest industry amongst students in engineering and young professionals in the engineering field. Moreover SCA's SVP Corporate HR Gordana Landén has been nominated as the Years's employer branding personality 2012.

UNIVERSUM conducts two surveys - the Company survey and the Career survey. The Company survey (FöretagsBarometern) examines attitudes among 17,000 students in the areas of Business, Technology, IT, Law and Real Estate agents, while the Career survey (KarriärBarometern) Career survey (KarriärBarometern) is carried out among 9,000 young professionals with university degrees.

ArbejdsmiljøPrisen 2011 (Denmark)

SCA Packaging in Denmark has been awarded with the Danish Working Environment Award (ArbejdsmiljøPrisen) 2011 for common efforts to improve safety and prevention in the daily work.

The Danish Working Environment Awards, which were established in 2006 by the Danish Working Environment Council, are given in November every year to the companies that perform unusual and interesting efforts to improve their working environment (occupational safety and health conditions) in four different categories: industrial accidents, psychosocial work environment, noise, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Zaměstnavatel roku 2011 (Czech Republic)

Zdenek Molčan at SCA Packaging in the Czech Republic has also been one of the nominations to the national round of the Zaměstnavatel roku, HR personality award 2011.

Zaměstnavatel roku is organized by Fincentrum Media under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
