Dividend

SCA aims to provide long-term stable and rising dividens. Dividends have risen by an average of 4% per year over the past decade.

Over a business cycle, about one third of the cash flow from current operations (after interest expenses and tax) is normally used for dividends. If, in the long term, cash flow from current operations exceeds what the company can place in profitable investments, the surplus shall be used to amortise loans or is returned to shareholders through higher dividends or share repurchases.

The Annual General Meeting decided on a dividend of SEK 4.00 (3.70) per share for the 2010 fiscal year.
