SCA produces tissue in four plants and incontinence products in one plant in the US.
SCA holds a strong position as a sustainable company in the US. It offers EcoLogo-certified Tork products made from 100% recycled fibre.
SCA offers Nostoras feminine care products on Puerto Rico in joint venture with familia.
Packaging
SCA also sells Cushi Tush baby seats in the US manufactured by SCA Foam Products.
Forest Products
SCA Transforest is shipping paper, pulp, wood products, plywood and other forest products from the interforest terminal in Rotterdam, the Netherlands to North America, as well as paper from North America to the London interforest terminal. The East coast of the USA is also a distribution market for SCA Timber.
History
Before 2001, SCA had an incontinence division and a small AFH tissue business in the US.
With the acquisitions of Georgia-Pacific Tissue in 2001, SCA got a no. 3 position in the AFH tissue segment.
2001 - 2007, SCA owned the protective packaging company Tuscarora.
