SCA is represented in the incontinence care segment with TENA and in the away-from-home tissue segment with its Tork.
SCA has offices in Barcelona, Puigpelat and Madrid as well as manufacturing sites in Mapacasa on the Canary Islands, Puigpelat, La Riba and Mediona.
Packaging
SCA Packaging Bertako at Huarte (Pamplona) is a consumer packaging supplier of litholaminated cartons, solid board cartons, trays and two-pieces cartons.
SCA also holds a minority share in the corrugated site in Spain belonging to the Lantero Group.
Forest Product
SCA is represented in the publication papers, timber and pulp market with SCA Graphic Paper España in Madrid.
History
Spanish tissue group Marpo was acquired 1998. 2002 SCA aqcuired the Spanish tissue manufacturer Papelera Noya S.A. (Panosa). SCA's tissue converting facility in Valls has been in production since summer 2005. In 2006 SCA acquired the tissue converting company MAPACASA on the Canary Islands. In 2007 SCA expanded the tissue converting capacity in Valls.
1997 SCA acquired minority shareholding in the Spanish packaging manufacturer Lantero Group. 2002 SCA acquired the Spanish packaging company Bertako.
